Ava, VA

Ava is on our Blue Cross Animal Staff team as a Veterinary Technician and she has been a part of our hardworking team since April 2019. Her favorite thing about working at Blue Cross is that she loves meeting all of our patients and forming a connection with pets and their people. Ava also loves that she can learn something new everyday – she enjoys the science behind veterinary medicine while also being able to form a relationship with individual animals.

On her days off, Ava likes to crochet and spend time with her animals. She also enjoys to be out in nature doing things like hiking and bird watching. As far as her favorite animal, it’s hard for her to choose a favorite animal but one of her favorite animal groups is frogs.

Ava also has a plethora of animals in her home life; she has three french bulldogs – Bug, Gunther, and Iris, three cats – Lily, Morpheus, and Ummi and four chickens – June, Franny, Ivy, and Pumpkin.
