Rachel

Rachel is a Veterinary Assistant Lead/Trainer and has been working with Blue Cross Animal Hospital for about one and a half year. Before joining Blue Cross, she had previously worked at the Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley for over two years.

Her favorite thing about working at the clinic is interacting with clients and being able to help the humans and their pets. When you help pets get help and in return, help their humans, it feels like you’re making a difference in their lives as a whole.

When she isn’t at work, she likes to unwind by hiking, going on road trips, and drawing/coloring. She also pet sits as a side job and fosters kittens in her free time until she can find forever homes for them. Her favorite animals are otters (especially river otters) but has a soft spot for huskies and cavaliers. She has three pets that she cares for: Mishka who is a 3-year old Belgian Malinois/Husky Mix, Sterling who is 5-year old Husky/German Shepherd Mix and Annabelle who is 14.5-years old and a Cavalier/Shitzu Mix.
